Loyal Members

Great leaders love to work with leaders. As they are working on ideas, they seldom care who are following or who not. Though they work on ideas, they seldom hinders the flows of ideas from his fellow leaders/companions and give free hand to play.

Before I register Navodaya Mission, I have been holding key posts of many organizations working in the field of education and I did justice with all of them. But after registering this body, it took time for all to believe on me that I was still advocating for them in the same spirit. Navodaya Mission was just an identity for our volunteering work being carried by our friends since the beginning. In fact when we saw no immediate future in social arena due to lack of support, resources and transfer of some of our key partners/friends, we thought to register this body just for the sake of our togetherness and a token of certificate that we founded something together and with the wishes that in future if we get chance we will once again unite and will carry our social cause together.

But this process brought new energy and new people in the organization and support from friends who are sitting in far of areas. Our three Indra (Jitendra, Yogendra and Raghavendra) are doing wonderful job. All the volunteers are now owner of Navodaya Mission.

When someone is telling the members of a particular group is not going to attend in this meeting, that is not fare, specially when the case is for Alumni. Such kind of outlook is a religious outlook. When the motto of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is national integrity, how any alumni group of a particular school would stop the alliance of alumni of different schools. It is always difficult to keep even students of one class together, how we could think so at school level. All should be given free hand to act. All have right to get befriended with the students, associations of all over of India. Can you stop outside alumni network to get associated with Navodayans? Simple No. After all we are being funded by society, how can we keep members of broader society out of our arena, thought.

Let all groom in his own way. If you can't support something, please do not hinder.

Afterall everyone has his own limitations and his own sphere of influence.

Really this requires churning of ideas.

I seldom ask for help to whom I have extended help. I would not like to put someone in dilemma. Even I would not expect our students to join my mission, but to choose organization of their own choice or if passionate form his own organization. God has given enough followers/companions for every leader, if passionate and ready to sacrifice to fulfill and materialize his ideas.
