Teacher: Trainer or Maker of Nation

I have plan to raise the morale of school teachers for doing more justice to his job. I wish they should realize the tremendous power vested in their profession. They are most powerful class who make nations.

Chanakya, two thousand years ago, proclaimed that teachers have power to make the king and the kingdom. They possess destructive as well as constructive power. He was such a powerful person who had not only spoken but also executed by toppling the rein of King Nanda for freeing the contemporary society from his atrocities and instated a new king for the prosperity of the society. On those days, India was divided in different territories and ruled by different kings independently. They are fighting among each other for demonstrating their power which made defeated king jealous and left them burning for revenge. All the people of this country, irrespective of their rulers are connected by same culture. Kings under the fire of jealousy forgot this fact and invited or assisted foreign rulers to attack on other kings. Such scenario felicitated the victory of Alexander at some parts of country who killed innocent people at mass scale. Chanakya was deeply disappointed by such nonsense behaviour and took oath to free the country and unite the country under one king. He quoted," A country can not be enslaved until his culture is intact". He taught lesson of nationality among the youth and showed the way they should act upon. These students sacrificed their life silently. These sacrifices didn't go in vain but aroused the idle soul of people who later toppled the governments and united themselves under one king, Samrat Chadragupt Maurya.

This was not the single story. Krishna was the ancient Guru who still guide us for taking right decision. Tulsidas, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Sikh Gurus etc. are the real teachers who did a lot for making this nation. Hitler, Subhash Chandra Bose all took inspiration from their teachers. Sri sri Ravishankar, Mata Amritamayii and some persons in society who are also playing the role of gurus and trying to inculcate culture among people.

Today we have teachers who are merely a trainers, who train us for making our own lives rather inspiring us for shaping our fate which are not only useful for us but also for the society enriching our culture more and more. God creates this earth and other things. Gurus prepare a cultured person who makes the society a beautiful place to live. This is the reason why gurus are worshiped before God is worshiped.

Let us see current situation of some system. In Javahar Navodaya Vidyalaya teachers with their families are supposed to stay in school campus with students. They are provided all the facilities in the school itself. This is nothing but modern replication of Gurukul Paddhati. But the outcome is not at per what it was expected. Such a situation has developed that in spite of focusing for the betterment of nation by nurturing students, incorporating them with culture and sense of service and making them a good cultured person, all are specially teachers are spending their time always repenting for some bad governance. Teachers are complaining about the faulty system that they have to work for whole day but they are paid the same what the teachers of day schools are paid. They have to watch and handle all kinds of affair of the students, which distracts them from focusing on teaching and leave them with little time to prepare the lecture and teaching material for effective lecture in the class. I agree about the grievances of teachers. The pain, the sense of alienation and injustice they are going through must be noticed and taken care of which is not happening yet. Do that mean, teacher should stop their work, do they stop their godly job of making responsible citizens. Can such actions will help anyone? Absolutely not. But that will make the situation even worse. If they are realizing that there are problems, wrong done, injustice and they also strongly think that those miscreants, problems must be eliminated, faulty rules must be rectified and modified then they have to work with some motive. They have to work hard on the students as a mission and have to prepare them fighting against all miscreants so that in future others have not to face the problems. Building a good society takes time, selfless service and devotion for achieving goal. If we have determination then we can do without any formal resources.

See if all the teachers would have worked hard, if they would have some vision, if they would have suffered for national cause, then after the end of 20 years of establishment of 500 hundred navodaya vidyalayas across the country would have produced a pool of sensible engineers, doctors, IAS officers and other professionals who would have taken steps for changing the nation.

So I have some word for the teachers that you have already lost so many years, please be careful and develop some vision, work as a mission and imparts all those social sense among the students and make them able to achieve their goal which will help in developing beautiful society. If religious organization, if terrorist organization can sacrifice why not you for the sake of making a rational society.

Martin Luther King started raising his voice, he died along with many able persons for cause, for bringing equality, for evaporating hatred from a section of people against other sections of people. His death, his sacrifices didn't go in vain. Today the victory of Barack Obama is the symbol of the result for which those people fight and died. Nana Palkhiwala told strongly, "Keep your head and spirits high and carry the fight right up to the doorsteps of death- for death can only destroy the body- not your spirit".

Dilip Kelkar's Lecture On Financial Crisis In SOM

In my IIT life, it was the first occasion when I or probably everyone got chance to attend a lecture delivered in Hindi. The lecture was lucid, clear, scintillating, and informative embedded with visionary ideas. Till now it was unimaginable that a lecture could be delivered in Hindi with complete authority over the subject in such a premium institute of India. But this happened today. Above all, all have perceived ideas conveyed by the lecturer even they have not any formal education in Hindi since his KG days. It is really irony we are staying in such a country, where people can’t expect a lecture it its national language. Communication is the tool which makes friend foes. Now if we are not taught in our own culture how we can expect that product of such institute should think about the nation, welfare for all.

In IIT, every year the team of faculty monitoring the performance of students noticed students who did not do well in their tests are those who either didn't do hard work or are poor in English. We all are in habit of wasting our energy in learning languages, which is not needed as that much of time could have been invested in more productive work. There is need of only a few who should concentrate on other language for translating the subject matter written in other languages. A person will always imagine better and clear in his own mother tongue.

Anyway these are some dilemma which has to be handled in more indigenous manner. A lot can be thought, discussed over this matter. But for the time being let us move on the lesson conveyed by the lecturer to the students of management school. The topic of lecture was the current financial break down.

The lecturer divided his thought in three parts. First he focused on dollar economy. How dollar turned into the means of exchange in global arena. It is means of exchange in international market. All nations of the world are forced to convert their money in terms of dollar. So what was the story of Dollar?

Due to special geographical location, the United States was not involved in the war directly until the attack on Pearl Harbor by Japan which happened almost at the end of the Second World War. During those periods all the countries are buying arms from this America. A sense of insecurity came in the mind of people. They thought the USA would not be affected by the ripples of war. So they start depositing their gold in the bank of America in return of bond. It was told that due to flow of gold, a huge quantity of gold was accumulated there. It was estimated that if all the gold is spread over the surface of the earth, then it will be a cover of three-four inches.

After the war was over, European companies started taking their gold. There was another change in the gold market in sixties. The price of gold in market was doubled than the price at which American bank was selling. People started buying gold and they sold all that in market and earned money to buy even more money and the cycle started. President Nixon checked this movement by making dollar equivalent to dollar. Now other countries will buy dollar rather gold. Almost all the countries were forced to accept that movement. The reason behind is that the economy was very strong as they are saving a lot. Their industrial development was on rise. Vietnam War has crippled the American Economy and that compelled America to rob other countries by showing her muscle power. She collected billions of dollars from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and even from Japan who was not related to the war at all.

All such movement and conman activities raised the confidence of people of America. Slowly they started drifting towards consumerism. After the Newyork stock exchange attack, the president bush was confused and called people for shop for nation. Even they don’t require they were inspired for buying showing their concern for betterment of their country. Bernanke who was the president of federal system of America told that people who have no confidence, will power are saving. This fired the sense of consuming more and more and in this way America started taking loan from all over world which amount touched to $ 112 billion.

Federal system is the most independent system of America which takes decision for the country and desires measures to be followed by the government. This is not a bank but a group of bank in which Bank of Newyork is the prime bank and plays the major and decisive role. The irony is that president of this system is elected by President but he has to power to remove that. For removing them, court has only power on various restricted ground. So the irony is that in America, economy which is backbone for any nation is controlled by a few people who are not controlled by anyone.

At last consumerism increased at such a level that people are burdened by heavy loans. Now they started defaulting. That made all the assets associated with them idle. Companies didn’t show this fact in their annual income account which was finally revealed. This causes sudden collapse of investment world. The balloon was blown and finally it squeezed to take its own shape. Bear Stearn was the first which was finally bought by JP Morgan. America took over Freddy Mac & Fannie Mae. On 6 September, 2008 America nationalized the world largest insurance company, American International Group, Ins. (AIG). On 15 September, Lehman Brothers declared bankrupt itself which was the major blow to the investment world. The panic was further added by the sell of another giant Merrill Lynch. The group was lucky enough as American Bank came forward to acquire the company.

It is better to give some more light on layman terms what exactly happens which caused the final blow of US economy. Due to consumerism, the demand of everything increased which cause rise in price. Due to speculation, banks started issuing loans at lower terms without holding any collateral. Due to increased demand leading to increase in price made banks confident enough that even the borrower would default they would make benefit buy selling the asset acquired by the borrowers. Now what followed next? See if a company gives a loan at terms of some fixed interest i, then that becomes a constant source of income. All the companies want a constant source of income. Now say company X approaches to the bank and offered them compensation calculated based on higher interest rate (i+e) what actually they are making. Any other company will now approach to this company and will make such deal. In this money is transferring from one hand to another hand. Investment banks are doing this intermediary job. The loan given on almost without no term are called subprime loan. Now the burden of loan increases on borrowers. They start making default which will cause loss to the company holding the money. Now the number of defaulter increases causing the losses to increase further. This ultimately causes the prices of assets go down as more and more people will sell their asset in market. Lehman Brothers was marred by such scene because they had invested tremendous fund in assets.

Finally the lecture of the Dilip Kelkar was to be over. He gave an insight to the students to think independently in spite of just copying the west. He told please study the lesson already given by the great scholars of India for the welfare of not only India but also the world and see them in the light of modern scenario and formulate mechanism which will be indigenous with independent thought and would fruitful for all.

He told that Yugoslavia thought differently and prospered. He given the name of an economist who helped brought out Yugoslavia’s dead economy in a week not accepting the terms of Dollar market.

Finally he ended the lecture giving the importance of Family. Consumerism broke the family structure of America and individualism grew leading to dissaving in the economy. Japanese in spite of having negative term for saving in banks, but still they continued as they have strong belief in family system. India still holds family system. He told that you will find many people who didn’t married for looking after their family members. Though they have no money, they don’t send their parents at old dwellings. They will feed their family members who are incapable of earning money.

Finally dear think about the nation, values and service to the poor. Only man can sacrifice everything for his knowledge, ideals etc. So be the human of highest ideals then only holistic prosperity will come on this earth.

Indian Judicial System- Unique on this globe

The privileges given to the judiciary executives in India was questioned under the shadow of rule of law. No process of police action can be carried out on President and chief justice of supreme court even they are charged with some serious offense. The only option left is impeachment which is done by the simple majority of people's representative in parliament. The privileged has been extended to the judges of high courts and the supreme court. In their case, constitution has not given security cover as Chief justice is mandated. But the chief justice of supreme court of India provide guidelines for executive action over judges. Police has to first appeal to the CJI and has to apply and has to wait his opinion. Basically his opinion is not opinion but that has to be followed.

The section 361 which provides this privilege was attempted to modify by extending this privilege to the Prime Minister, but it was failed. In 1976, chief justice of Punjab high court was charged for possessing property beyond his sources of income. But no action was taken. He retired next year. But the issue was raised again and matter went into parliament where he came out safe as majority of legislatures supported him.

Currently many cases of corruption in judicial system has been exposed. The Prime Minister has mentioned this fact repetitively on various occasions. He iterated that corruption in executives and judiciary systems has deterred the progress of the country and government and judicial system are loosing faith of people in them.

Why suddenly all these debates have started? Why had daily papers been filled with news criticizing Indian judicial system for the past two months?

Neeraj Kumar, justice in Kolkata high court has deposited 30 Lakh in his own account and didn't returned the money. The issue was raised to such an extent that the Chief justice has to pass his opinion for his resignation for saving the sanctity of the judicial system. He had returned all the money and declined to resign defending himself proving not doing any thing wrong. Finally CBI investigation has been done to go into the matter.

On the other side, a cheque of 15 lakh was mistakenly given to the Nirmal Kaur, Justice of Punjab. She immediately informed the matter to the concerned authority. The similar case has come in light where a merchant had illegally sent a cheque of 15 lakh to a justice of Allahabad Court. Under the turmoil and political interference, CBI investigation has been allowed in both the above cases.

I hardly remember the date of publication, The Indian Express published article about the faulty method of appointment of judges in the court. After filing an RTI suit over this matter, it was revealed that many judges has no formal degrees to occupy the post of sanctity.

These all events has questioned the validity of current laws. Government has to make more transparent system for stopping the propping judicial corruption while taking care of a liitle hold of politician over judicial system as the judicial system must be independent from the executive system.

Silence abets Crime

This was mid summer. Roads are bathing by the scorching sun rays. A bus full of passenger was running on the road. There was enough crowd inside the bus. It was very difficult to move inside the bus. It was very difficult situation for the people specially for women. Youths with lose character are trying to assault ladies under the shadow of crowd. This was criminal infested areas and some youth are very daring and they were in habit of molesting ladies in the bus. All passengers were merely mute spectator. Non of them had guts to oppose such things. Suddenly one lady cried and told the driver to take the bus to the nearby police station. There was such commanding sound in the voice of the lady that all got feared and the driver simply followed her order. All the passenger were stunned by such sudden cry and daring nature of the lady. All youth also was stunned to see the retaliation.

The bus reached at the Police Station. The police saluted her. All the passenger took normal deep breath and felt relaxed. Youth were palpitated by such move. She bastinadoed all the youth bitterly and let them locked up. Then she ordered all the passenger to put off their clothes. All these people followed the order by fear. Then she told to lie down on the road which is already to hot due to scorching sun rays. She told all they were only mute spectator. None of them had gut to protect the dignity of fello ladies. They were actually promoting such anti social activities by maintaining silence. So they were actually criminal and they were equally punishable. If all will raise the voice against crime, then criminal will be too weak to do crime. It is not the duty of Police only to protect the citizen, but it is the prime job of citizen themselves.

She was actually police officer and used to walk here and there in non uniform to check such moves. This insidence happened in some village of the Uttar Pradesh State.

Our country is still full of great souls

India is the land of saints. This sacred land has given birth to many saints in all ages. These people have sacrificed all personal desires for the welfare of society. They worked hard throughout their life in search of innovative ways to give direction to the society. They visioned for such a society where all would live together happily. They not only preached but also practiced. In fact people learned from their deeds rather their words. They never abused anyone, never blamed anyone and only taught them to live a good life. The rich turned generous by feeling their compassion, their concern for the poor and the poor learned to live a happy life by seeing smile on their face. They taught spirituality silently to all. Spirituality is the soul of our country.

People have given highest regard to saints. They worshiped them. They took inspiration from their deeds and tried to imbibe all good things in their actions. Dharma is the most valuable asset for all the persons of our society. People embraced death for the shake of dharma.

According to the need of time, such a kind people have also shown anger to revive the hidden power of the common man for saving their own dignity, their great culture. Chanakya was the most vibrant political leader who not only saved our country from the slavery but also changed the brutal king and united our country under one banner for making our nation strong so that no one would try to destroy our culture. Later Vivekanand have also inspired youth to be strong to fight against the foreign rule. Gandhiji played great role in politics for getting freedom. Patriotic revolutionary like Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, full of pugnacity, sacrificed their life fighting with the English rule which was crippling the growth of our nation which left the poor starving.

I have been reading many stories about saints, patriotic heros since childhood. I always felt thrill by reading the revolutionary speeches of great man which have given new life to the poor, oppressed class. The deeds of all are just like a milestone to be aspired by all in the field of humanity.

With passage of time all these stories have lost their real meaning for me. I was surrounded by people who only care things which are relevant for their self advancement in life in terms of material possession or for some in the form of name and fame. They always advocated that those ideas are the matter of past and self advancement is the need of hour. Life is limited and it must be spent with full of joy. There is no need to care of others. Such company changed my own view and I also started waving away from my real motto of life and suppressed all these thoughts in my own heart.

But now I got chance to meet, to talk to such a people who are full of compassion and ready to help all the needy always even at the cost of their own desire. There are many people who are serving the society even they have to face many problems in their own life. They forgot their own pain, grief for caring higher causes of life. An amputee forgets his grief of loosing his leg or arm while he was on the verge of death. So when a man starts caring to the mass, he forgets his own feelings or say he stops suffering from pain. From their life it is reinforced that pain is inevitable but suffering is your choice. Such persons always smile and they motivate the youth.

Sri Sri Ravishankar is teaching meditation for restoring peace of mind which ground level of mind. Peace of mind helps to stay happy as it helps in removing all the stresses accumulated over years. For his noble work is respected all over the world even in Islamic nation. Meditation not only helps them to achieve peace of mind but also helps in developing a sense of service which ultimately gives happiness. There are a number of people who are teaching all these learning of a great saint who themselves live like a saint. There are many other pioneer people who are teaching the world about different methods for inner self advancement which helps in enjoying real happiness. They are proving that quality of life depends upon status of mind.

There are a great band of patriotic persons who are sacrificing their desire to build society, preparing people who are always charged to serve the society and to sacrifice their own life if needed for the welfare of the society. There are parents who are sending their only one son to serve the society. Such people are happy and his mind enjoys peace although they are caring about very sensitive issues as well as critical conditions of country from one region to another. They are offering their whole life for saving independence although a very good, luxurious lives are waiting for them. Really they are mad for some cause and that madness gives them strength to relish the real happiness.

Last night I got chance to see the ceremony where a young boy was to march for social service leaving his own parents. I have met him many times on various occasions, but today I saw his greatness for taking such decision. That boy was always smiling. he did lots of work for the society. He filled with compassion after seeing the grief of the people. He was a simple but brilliant student, son of an auto driver. He was university topper and selected in INFOSYS. His family condition was not good and he was the only son of his parents. Still he thought about the society and decided not to join that company. He took a position for earning money which was only for survival and he continued to serve the society at his level. His compassion for society increased to such an extent that he decided to devote himself for the benefit of society for one year. He is going to serve the country at unknown place staying away from his own home. That doesn't mean he is not going to care his parents. For one year only he has to stay away but in later years of life he was expected to take care of his parents as well as society which is not a big deal. In this mission he is not alone, there are many who will take place of him. Really I saw a real seen where a father was offering his son for the welfare of the country. His both eyes was full of tears, but his hand was on his head giving blessing for his mission for the service of the society.

The address of another saint who has already spent twenty years of his life for the society on this occasion was rewarding and full of message. He talked about the fact that a man has to leave some personal desire which could be fulfilled at that time for the sake of personal advancement in life. On the same line a man has to sacrifice his own desire for the welfare of the society. So for the sake of society, one have to keep away his own desire. The man who sacrifice everything for the society, was worshiped as a saint. After western invasion on culture, blind modernization, still people are putting the picture of some saint on the wall and worship everyday. Such things impel them to live a spiritual life, a happy life. Really life should be spent with three integral activities, vyaktigat sadhna, samuhic satsang and samajik sewa.

Religion and Culture

Today I thought to penned down my thoughts about this topic which has been most sensitive issues on this earth for peace. Religion as its origin is always most sacred thing on this very earth primarily concerned for making people kind enough so that non of other human fellows or other forms of creatures have to sleep without food. This is the basic reason why all good people are deeply attached to their own religion and calling some person as religious is always the best compliment for them. But on the other hand, religion as an organization are the major agent of many war on this earth. This becomes problematic when people make religion as a political party and people have to be either this side or that side. This has brought crusade, killing of lakhs of people on the name of religion. The word riot itself is the most deadly, frightening word for any person.

The soul of all religion is spirituality, and so all religion are same, and gives same teachings at the core. From outlook, it seems different and that is the wrong perception of religion by people. They should always draw a clear cut line between religion and culture. Religion is personal and for personal purification for the benefit of all on the name of God. But culture is the way of life which is mostly decided by the knowledge of that particular society, weather, physical condition etc.

This is not the problem of uneducated person, but due to past incidences educated people also commit the same mistakes. I was concerned with the status of so called lower caste. Seeing my inclination, one of my friend of humanity department tried to convince me that Boddha Dharma is better than Hindu Dharma. I told him whatever you are seeing about the Hindu Dharma currently in the society, that is nothing but Brahmin Dharma which is the distorted form of Hindu Dharma. Lord Buddha has only tried to restore the old beautiful Dharma and that also had been distorted. So basically society goes in many phases and it's beauty of a society which has power to restore its goodness.

Later he has given many logic for coming into in Boddha Dharma. Then I replied to him, till the age of 11 I was not aware that I am a Hindu, I have given due respect to all God, even went into Masjid, Church but Ram and Krishna were always my ideal which impels me to be a good person for myself as well as for the society. Can you please tell me that after changing my religion I would be in a state to broaden my ideas? Would I aspire to be Ram or Krishna?

I have always thought the reason behind giving importance to anything in Hindu Dharma. Cow is worshiped by Hindus. But truly speaking, cow is not only worshiped by Hindus but by all the people staying in this region as they know the importance of cow for human being. This is matter of knowledge, culture rather religion. This has been given religious colour for spreading the knowledge, the knowledge of importance of this animal. I would like to make sure that only cow has power to bring better life for the poor. Its all products has some benefit for the humanity. Medicine for almost all disease can be made from the residual of this animal which would be quite cheap. This unique feature is found in only Indian cow and not in cows of other countries. So you can think shedding your own culture. Yes changing religion has no effect as all are going to teach you same thing if you are truly following that things.

Whatever teachings have been given in religions originated in this very land for living for better life are applicable in this land only. So such teachings of other religion would be applicable to the land where they have been originated. Yes there is possibility of some overlapping, no doubt.

Changing religion has no issue but shedding culture on the name of religion must create problems. Can you change your father by changing you religion? No, then how can you shed your culture that would be as bad as giving disregard to your forefathers. It is matter of concern that about 95 percent of Indian Mussalman are converted Mussalman. But how many of them are remembering their forefathers? If they really recall their forefathers all religious tensions will evaporate. Some Christians in Kerala have converted their religion two thousand years ago, but still they are giving due respect to all Indian God as they have realized their teachings for this land.

There can be written a long story over this topic. But it is simple thing that be united on the basis of core values of religion and don't shed your culture but put your life for making it better and better. For moving faster, prior knowledge of path always helps and so culture is important for better and easy go ahead.

Promote public transport and breathe more fresh air

The proposal of rapid transit system is a revolutionary idea and it is in accordance of the need of the hour. When whole world are becoming conscious for environmental issue as threat of global warming, promotion of less polluting vehicle is a welcome proposal. In any city of India, two wheelers and private four wheelers are the major agents of polluting the air of cities. In such a situation, public transport should be encouraged and use of private vehicles should be discouraged. This could be possible by providing better public transport system which will attract more and more people.

Providing special lanes on road for buses are one of such measure which will make life of bus passengers better. During hot chilling days, life in bus during Jam becomes pathetic. Free movement of bus will provide comfort to common people. By introducing more buses with better facilities will attract more passengers to travel by bus.

Transport demand in Delhi will increase from 14million to 28million by 2021. It is well known that about 60 percent transport demand is meted out by buses. But only 5000 new buses have been added during 2005 to 2007 against two lakh cars have been added.

But this new changes needs better traffic management, passenger movement etc. and hence there is need of planning and decision making.

Bank and Muscle man

It is shocking to know that banks are outsourcing the job of recovery of money from borrowers to muscle men. These men are harassing and humiliating the borrowers to get the money. Many a people are not able to bear such harassment and humiliation, a few of them get desperate to such a extent that they are taking their own life. In the latest case in court, one man committed suicide for not able to pay the loan which he borrowed for buying a scooter. This example shows inhumane nature of some banks, a few of them has reputation in the market.

Supreme court has sent many scriptures to banks for such harsh practices for recovery of money in 2007. There is already law which gives power to the banks for recovery of money from recalcitrant borrowers. But banks are taking law in there hand, as they couldn't compromise delay in payment. Banks are outsourcing works for incorporating new technologies and overloaded work. But using muscle men is a criminal act as it is going to nurture a class which are not supposed to be active in our society.

Banks should ensure that to whom they are giving money, would return money or not, especially when they are lending for vehicles. Money spent on such items could be recovered if the income level of the borrower is not enough. Again, anyone who is committing suicide must have some reason for not to pay. Banks are not the landowner of the past or more specifically of the period of the English. Banks should lend money for helping customers and so they should only press the borrower for not making delay, but they should never use criminal means which compelled people to take their own life. Such action will diminish the reputation of the banks and so banks should take care of their dignity. Banks are the agent of community development and so they must maintain their dignity, otherwise they must be thrown away.

Inflation- Devil for Common Man

Price hike of the essential commodities are the major problems that our country has to deal with. Last year, finance minister welcomed more than 9 percent growth rate at the cost of 7 percent inflation rate. The major reason of inflation was the large inflow of foreign direct investment which was also the main agent of economic growth. This year inflation rate has touched 8.1 percent as compare to 5.4 percent of corresponding quarter of the last year. This time, government is blaming the world economy which is on the verge of recession due to food crisis and hike in fuel prices.

If we see the growth as overall figure then it will give rosy picture of our country. But for the even development of a country, distribution of income among masses should be the indicator of growth. As the fruit of economic growth has been acquired by only a few percent of masses, the large chunk of masses still living in acute poverty. According to study by an private organization, per person daily income of 80 percent people is only Rs. 20. Now one can realize the effect of inflation on people of such group. They will not be able to manage enough food and essential commodities. So spending on education is beyond their imagination. So finally, inflation will cause reduction in literacy rate and increase in child labour.

So if inflation is accepted for national growth, then government should take proper measure to stop its negative impact on common man. She should have to spend more on education, health and public awareness. Without that, a large section of our society will left behind which are not the good signal of healthy development of a country.
